Rules and Regulations

  1. All vessels must register with the Dockmaster or his/her representative, hereinafter referred to as “Management”, upon arrival. 
  2. The Management shall not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by persons and vessels while staying at the Waterside Marina hereinafter referred to as “the Marina”.
  3. No maintenance, painting or repair of vessels is permitted while tied up at the Marina unless approved by the Management.
  4. All piers and slips must be kept clear of material i.e. hose, dinghies, cushions, etc. Water hoses and shore power cords must be neatly positioned so as not to impede traffic to and from adjacent vessels.
  5. The owner/operator of vessels utilizing the Marina shall be held responsible for his/her guests and any damage caused by said vessel. Boisterous conduct and loud music will not be tolerated.
  6. If a boat owner cannot be located after a reasonable attempt has been made, the Management reserves the right to have a vessel moved to another location at the owners expense without its being held liable for any damages that result.
  7. The discharge of bilge fluid or raw sewage is prohibited.
  8. No fishing, swimming, diving or crabbing is permitted while at the Marina.
  9. Commercial advertising, including “For Sale” signs is prohibited without the consent of the Management.
  10. No vessel may engage in boat charters, the sale of merchandise and services, or any other commercial enterprise without written prior agreement of the Management.
  11. All refuse and trash must be placed in receptacles provided. Items such as waste oil and batteries cannot be offloaded without the Management’s consent.
  12. Open fires are not permitted.
  13. Laundry is not to be hung from boat rigging, lifelines, pulpits or the docks.
  14. Vessels that are abandoned or whose owners have not paid dockage fees will be impounded by the Management.
  15. Pets must be leashed at all times while traversing the Marina and surrounding waterfront lands and parks.
  16. Boats that are not marked or identified and licensed as required by law will not be permitted to use the Marina facilities.
  17. Boats must be in seaworthy condition and not constitute a fire hazard.
  18. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on the Marina unless in conjunction with an authorized special event, or while on board the vessel.
  19. The Management reserves the right to have raised and have repaired at the owners expense any boat which sinks for any reason while at the Marina.
  20. No cash refunds.
  21. No rafting will be allowed, unless authorized by Management or in conjunction with an authorized special event.
  22. The Management reserves the right to deny access and revoke docking privileges to any person or vessels failing to comply with the above Rules and Regulations.

I have read the Rules and Regulations governing the use of the Waterside Marina and agree to abide by them.
